The Polish label has again grabbed hold of a late 2020 release, like the Cult Graves, to give it a further physical release via CD, on top of the cassette version that came out via Transylvanian Tapes. Similar the Cult Graves I’ve reviewed as well, this quintet are punishing from start to finish as this release follows their debut demo ‘Call Of The Void’ which is equally barbaric as the band use that same formula for these four new offerings.

Spewing a relentless tirade from the off, opener ‘Repulsive Infestation’ has that chainsaw like guitar sound we all love as they mix their obliterating speed with slower phases of encapsulating suffocating density. The lead break here is exceptionally cool too, adopting an eerie stance it pierces the track superbly as the title track follows. The abrasive feedback starting the song, hints that the track might hit grindcore velocities but instead floods in with an avalanche of drum work. Vocally the band has adopted a higher toned throatiness as the style cuts a swathe through every song. Their sense of tempo dynamics is excellent, inserting slower sequences that meld with the battering fast pieces with considerable dexterity.

‘Depraved Sanctity’ continues the inhuman assault as acts like Horrendous and Tomb Mold came to mind for the asphyxiating terror that ensues. Being monstrously dense the song is immersive and tense as fans of the warring death metal style will appreciate what the band is doing here. Closer ‘Worms Made Flesh’ is my favourite track here, it’s savaging and bludgeoning approach is also spiked with a cool sense of groove as the vocals here dive into deeper realms as though the guy is being garrotted with barbed wire. The cool hook towards the end is infectious, as it is followed by a fine riff break and typical cymbal smashing pause that winds the speed in marginally ready for a double kick demolition.

Brutalising, inhuman and possessing inexorable power this EP exemplifies how brutal death metal can be played with that sense of overriding catchiness melted into the songs.
