Formally known as Defilementory, Danish Dissonant Death Metal troupe Dysgnostic have unleashed a new eight track album entitled ‘Scar Echoes’ through uber-prolific Indian label Transcending Obscurity Records. This marks the trio’s debut album under this guise and sees the band weave a darkened technical onslaught of aural savagery from the moment that opening track ‘Dysgnostic’ batters its way into existence.
‘Scar Echoes’ is an uncomfortable listen, one that features maximum aggression and an unceasing belligerent pummelling from the drums, furious unsettling and almost agonised growling from vocalist Thomas Fischer, and a dazzling display of crushing riffs tempered by technical guitar leads, as well as the ever present rumble of bass that rattles around inside your head.
An intensely ferocious album performed with the utmost skill and created with utter dominance and destruction in mind, ‘Scar Echoes’ begins a new chapter for this group of Danish death dealers that should see them shock and awe their ever increasing audience for years to come.
