This is a fifth album ov black metal punk filth, this one shows a touch of variety from your pure gnarly black punk drenched tunes, to Bathory chalices of evil through to some fairly normal metal influences. The mental vocals remain though, and I suppose in one respect, the artwork is a touch more agreeable to the wider public for this release and it looks like a great tattoo idea.

‘Stürm-Battalion’ is carnage; it is a track that you may well enjoy. You are given an absolute battering, it is a touch more black metal inspired, the treble is increased the drumming pace increased and the overall stance is energetic. ‘Heretic’ is much more punk inspired with a free flowing rhythm. Overall, quite simplistic in its approach by grabbing you with a melody. Crushing Suffering’ is a violent assault, the solos are a little wayward, but that fits with this collective. ‘Lured into Red’ sounds Viking era Bathory in the tempo at the start. You are cordially rewarded with augmented chord structures, and a few timing changes that screams Armageddon, totally changing the feel and atmosphere. One another part, the spooky spoken word soundbites helps create a sense of your skin crawling and the increase of tempo just scream sod it, let us just go all out. If you want more necro-holocaustic black metal, then look to ‘Mouth of Darkness’ and ‘The Grey Mother’. If you then crave for more punk, go for ‘Total Ordeal’.

Whilst Wömit Angel are solid in their style, the combination and influences from punk and black metal work out well. Do not think this is consistent at all, especially in the running order, but fans of the artist will be well versed with random acts of deliberate carnage.  Expect an expulsion of energy.
